The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association, CIAA, is an NCAA Division II conference. It is the nation's oldest black athletic conference having been established in 1912. The conference is divided into western and eastern divisions in all sports except football and baseball. Other sports include basketball, softball, volleyball, golf, tennis, and more.

The Western Division:

The Eastern Division:

• Bowie State University
• Elizabeth City State University
• Saint Paul's College
