A wonderfully simple gtk+ based themable ide for the Gnome environment on Linux. Although horrifically buggy at the moment, some of it's features are very promising. It aims to clone the functionality of more complex packages such as kdevelop and other such ides as codeforge. However, the goal of Code Commander is to remain small and efficient. It is extremely small when compared to programs such as Emacs, but provides Syntax highlighting as well as an interface to the gcc compiler as well as the gdb debugger. The coolest feature is it's gtk+ themability to the Aqua theme. Can be found on www.sourceforge.net.
