| Five For Fighting is a band which has produced such albums as Message for Albert and America Town. The band is masterminded by John Ondrasik, who plays the piano, does the vocals, and plays some guitar. As far as I know, Robert Medici is their drummer, Eric Massimino plays the bass, and Mark Hermann and David Levita play guitars. Their sound tends to be rather soft, often utilizing strings in their work. Just as with They Might Be Giants, the lyrics are not clear in meaning upon first listening, and sometimes remain as such, but the earnest-sounding vocals of Ondrasik combined with the general sound created by the instrumentalists alone make their work worth trying. |
