Griev'ance (?), n. [OF. grcvance. See Grieve, v. t.]

A cause of uneasiness and complaint; a wrong done and suffered; that which gives ground for remonstrance or resistance, as arising from injustice, tyranny, etc.; injury.

Grieving; grief; affliction.
