Hanau is a mid-size city in Germany near Frankfurt, also the name of an "town-circle" over there. Lots of people who work in Frankfurt live there and commute on a daily basis, as there is no such thing as suburbs in Germany - people live in seperate little villages connected by a rather efficient Bus and Train system.
