Leftfield gave perhaps one of the loudest electronic live performances. They were banned from London's Brixton Academy after their incredibly powerful noises made the plaster of the ceiling crack and fall onto the audience. Their manager helped the closing DJ clean dust and plaster off his records and his equipment while the police threatened to arrest the sound man.

The duo have now parted to spend more time on solo projects.

Paul Daley has been remixing folks like Arkarna, Massive Attack, Jose Padilla, Slam, and the Dub Pistols. Neil Barnes has released one remix of the Sex Pistols' "God Save the Queen".
