Another of the many Orange County, CA ska bands of the 1990s, My Superhero is distinguished by having an accordian instead of horns. Their style is mainly ska, with a touch of punk and possibly emo (in lyrical choices if not in sound). Their older CDs were, Solid State 14 and SKAteboard Music, with Solid State 14 as a continuous CD and SKAteboard Music as a sort of compilation of their live songs. Their newer CD, Station 1, came out in the summer of 1999 and was good despite the excessive use of the Moog. As of November 2000 they are still actively touring and playing, mostly in Southern California.
