| I wish that I could paint, like you do.
You're able to use color and shapes to make people think - to make them re-examine their concrete and steel foundations. You make them wonder if they're wrong, or if maybe there is more to life than money and cars and the social ladder.
I need words. I'm not proud of it, either. I envy people that can communicate with a smile, or a blush, or with glow-in-the-dark paint.
The problem with words is that they don't mean enough, anymore. Verbal inflation has rendered them cheaply, into empty soap bubbles that *pop* on contact with one another.
I'll keep trying to show you how much you mean to me. Through things I do, or paintings that I try to create, or the little butterfly touches that we can sneak in behind our parents' backs.
Until then, words will have to do. So here...on Valentine's Day. Hallmark's most ingenious marketing scheme. But still...
