Some sociologists believe that pricks are actually blowhard larva. Blowhards enjoy tossing their weight around, but are usually more obnoxious than dangerous. When accosted by a blowhard, the easiest path of escape is usually to feign submissiveness, which among primates is easily done by hunching your shoulders, looking at the ground, and mumbling apologetically. As soon as he leaves you alone, you can heal your injured ego by making fun of him behind his back with your friends. Of course, you may prefer to just belt him one in the pie hole. This can be intensly satisfying, but is not considered acceptable behavior in polite company. |
