An ice cream treat. It usually includes the following:

two or three heaping scoops of vanilla ice cream,
two or three large spoonfuls of slightly warm chocolate fudge sauce
two or three squirts of whipped cream
a single cherry, stem included.

Often comes with two spoons, so you can share.
