RTW is an acronym meaning a piece of software has undergone Release to Web, similar to Release to Manufacturing, or RTM. This is for products made to be placed on a website to be made available for download. Again, similar to RTM, it is the opposite of beta. When something is released, it is out in the hands of the customers, for better or for worse.
