One of the twelve major commands (MAJCOMs) of the United States Air Force, AFMC has its headquarters at Wright-Patterson AFB, just outside Dayton, OH. AFMC oversees all of the USAF's Air Logistics Centers, test centers, the Air Force Research Labs, and all procurement and contracting.
