A small metal strip with two L-bends to let it slide under a lip, ending with a hex wrench, a small brown piece of metal that loosened the Apple P'tui's hex nuts. It's embossed with the Apple logo. It is all that I have left of my old Apple //e.
The exceptions are the PowerBook and iBook, which require a standard Phillips screwdriver to get at the RAM and other fiddly bits, and a Torx driver if you want to dismantle the whole shebang.
So the Apple wrench is truly a thing of the past.
