A supermarket on steroids. One half of the store offers consumer goods such as computers, jeans and other random stuff. The other half is madness. A large number of food products packaged in obscene quantity. The ultimate suburban store for moms with SUV's.

A great place to go if you're poor and hungry. They give out tons of free samples at the Costco in my city. Just make the rounds two or three times, and you've got yourself a meal!
Also, every Costco I've been in has this super-cheap pizzaria where for $3, you can get a giant slice of pizza, and a bottomless drink.
It's every starving college student's dream!
