fauns are usually smaller and somewhat more mild-mannered than their "cousin" the satyr. Fauns have the head and torso of a human, and the hindquarters of a goat (yes complete with hooves and tail). Fauns do, however, have two small goat horns protruding from their heads and almost always have coarse curly hair. Fond of music and often depected playing pan pipes
