Odin's advice to the human race. Håvamål is a part of the
Elder Edda.
Håvamål is a collection of poems, describing proverbs and advice on everyday life, as well as a few mythological stories from the Norse mythology.
Here's a sample verse:

døyr frendar;
døyr sjølv det same.
Men ordet om deg
aldri døyr
vinn du eit gjetord gjævt.

Every man is mortal:
But the good name never dies
