One of the great singing groups of The Sound of Philadelphia, despite the name, the lead singer during their most successful period was actually none other than Teddy Pendergrass. Some of their hits include Wake up Everybody and If You Don't Know Me by Now, which was the subject of a cover by Simply Red.
