Any of several variety of ridiculously large cars usually manufactured in the 70s or early 80s. Usually a boat is championed for it's ability to crash into things and come out with only a few scratches. Being on the recieving end of one of these monstrosities can be quite dangerous in today's medium sized cars. Of course, the main disadvantage (besides maiming others) is that large cars are notorious for being gas guzzlers.

A poker term used to describe a hand that contains three cards of the same rank (trips or three of a kind) and two additional cards of the same rank (a pair). The more common name for the hand is "full house".

BattleTech/MechWarrior jargon.

A "boat" 'Mech is a 'Mech that utilizes only one type of weapon - for example, a 'mech with only lasers.

This is a typical munchkin tactic in MW2 and MW3; It is somewhat harder in MechWarrior 4 because of the hardpoint system (most 'mechs must use different types of weapons). It is legal by rules, but somewhat against the spirit; Many players don't exactly like the thing done by other players, and won't engage in such things themselves, because variety in weapons is often a big advantage...

(Not to be confused with the naval vessels in the games.)
