Flo"ral (?), a. [L. Floralis belonging to Flora: cf. F. floral. See Flora.]

Pertaining to Flora, or to flowers; made of flowers; as, floral games, wreaths.

2. Bot.

Containing, or belonging to, a flower; as, a floral bud; a floral leaf; floral characters.

Floral envelope Bot., the calyx and corolla, one or the other of which (mostly the corolla) may be wanting.
