A supercar from Bugatti, the 16/4 Veyron is certainly something. Some might say pug-ugly, others might say hideously expensive and a waste of money and some would say one of the last words in the need for speed. Whatever you call it, the Bugatti 16/4 Veyron certainly is fast. A top speed of 406kph (252.3mph) is certainly nothing to sniff at.
The W16 (!?) engine consists of two narrow-block V8s combined at 90 degrees, providing a lot of power from a (relatively, obviously) compact space. A patented double-clutch transmission shifts from one of the gears to another within 200 milliseconds using paddles located behind the steering wheel. So if you have some very serious cash to drop on some extreme wheels, then the 16/4 Veyron isn't a bad choice. Just be careful where you drive it.
