An interesting name for a theme.
Ebony is something black, Ivory is white. Paul McCartney wrote a song called "Ebony and Ivory" to talk about living together in peace and harmony, showing how the two opposites could come together.
I imagine many interracial wedding couples use it as their song. On the surface, it means Black and White people living together happily.
A few years ago, an asian kid walked into my classroom, and began singing it to a young black woman, trying to woo her over with this song. It was a very cute idea, but she was more mortified than anything.
