This is the company that I work for. InfoRad is located in
Cleveland, Ohio. InfoRad currently employs six people. The company makes software for wireless communications devices for text messaging (such as
pagers and
cell phones). Many of our products are utilized by
public service agencies such as
fire departments and
EMS units. Other industries such as
real estate use our software to communicate with their associates and
agents while they're out in the
field.
My job at InfoRad is technical support. For 8 hours a day, I answer the tech support
hotline and answer questions regarding the use of the software. Questions range from the simple installation of the program to more complex issues of configuring the software to work on a
network. When things are not busy, I'm usually making up new
disks to send out to customers and testing the new versions that are still in
alpha.
