I live in Perth, Australia.

Piano means an incredible amount to me. Playing piano helps me see myself, it brings me joy, it has been a lifeline of emotional regulation, and countless other things. I love playing, and many people have told me how my music has touched them. I play because I must, because I'm driven to, because I love it so deeply, because it gives me so much. Nevertheless, I am grateful to have provided other people joy and solace at the same time.

Sheep are awesome, dead or alive.

Batman is my favourite superhero.

I enjoy PC computer games, mainly the Assassin's Creed series, the Batman Arkham series, Diablo II & III, Lego *everything* (except Indiana Jones 1), and the hidden object genre.

I prefer to read Young Adult fantasy books, and I love comic books but don't read them very often.

There are some films that I just feel like rewatching pretty often when I feel sick or something. The ones I remember right now are: Prince of Persia, Speedracer, live action Cinderella, Ever After, Blades of Glory, Constantine, Equilibrium, The Fifth Element, Vampire Academy, Prince of Egypt, Practical Magic, Hook, The Princess Bride.

The write-up that I'm most happy I wrote is What "I love you" doesn't mean. I wrote it in 2001, and I think I would write it better now if I re-wrote it, but I'm still really happy with what it says.

I am divorced, having been with that partner for almost 25 years. We are still friends. They have the dog & the house, and I have the payout. I've adjusted (somewhat) to the joy/horror of living in a sharehouse since we separated. I feel more & more myself everyday and have grown a hecking lot these last years.

I delivered pizzas for 2 years, worked in a puter shop retail for 7 years, worked a admin/accounts for 6.5 years, worked accounts (sans admin) for 4 years. From there I pivoted into disability support work. Throughout all those years, I also severely burnt out multiple times, to the point of being unable to work at all for a year at one point. Eventually I decided it was better to work part time consistently than continue the boom & bust of full time to nothing over and over. I never finished highschool, having quit it twice, but I do have a high level Certificate in Accounting that I received in 2014.

I am currently launching a business involving art, listening, and music, with the point being compassion, connection, and safe space for peeps to self-heal.
