Williamsburg, the
Brooklyn Brewery is one of the finest breweries in the country. Not only do they produce any
impressive line of beers with enough taste
variation to match anyone's
preferences, they also throw great
parties...
Every Friday for the duration of the summer (the last one planned right now is for the end of September, I think...) they hold block parties at the brewery from 7pm-9pm with live music and 2 Brooklyn pints for $5. They also hold an annual Oktoberfest (or Oktoberfiesta - they have a salsa band play...) and beer taste testings through the year...
You'll find the brewery at 79 North 11th Street (between Berry & Wythe). The closest subway station is the Bedford Avenue stop on the L Train.
