A Russian company which makes electronics for music, including vacuum tubes and tube guitar amplifiers, various spare parts and accessories, and effects (under the Electro-Harmonix name). Sovtek and its parent company, New Sensor, were started by EH founder Mike Matthews, after the closure of his original New York firm.
