Consulting company soon to be
absorbed into
Novell in the
summer of
2001. CTP's
CEO,
Jack Messman, is a Novell
board member and was one of the original
founders of Novell in
1983.
CTP's business is Internet consulting--building big websites, enabling e-commerce, all that buzzwordy stuff. They didn't really use Novell technologies, and in fact have contracts with Novell competitors, so the transition is likely to be bumpy. The idea, though is to take the consulting and brain trust of CTP and integrate it into Novell to make Novell stronger. Stranger things have happened.
