I have wondered what to say about my orientation for some time. Because a pretty lady can certainly turn my head, but nothing else happens -- I wouldn't say I'm physically attracted to anyone, though I can only imagine dating women. One might call that "homoromantic" -- except that when someone is really pretty or really sexy, I definitely notice, and, like it or not, I will do a double or a triple take. So "grey asexual" might be a better term.
But this afternoon I think I found a better answer, when I noticed how the sunlight hit my hair.
See, blonde hair is blonde because it's translucent. In full sunlight, each strand becomes a microscopic prism. So when I was sitting there, the curls of my bangs half an inch from my eyes and lit all up by the sun, I noticed a curious iridescence -- and when I took off my glasses, the light hit my retinas at a broader focus, and it looked like a lot of tiny rainbows.
So the answer to the question of what I am is "I don't know but
my hair is literally full of rainbows".
