I gave
blood a little while ago here in
the states. The way they did it, was they had everyone answer a bunch of really personal questions, and then took everyone's blood. I don't know if it's different in a
hospital, but this situation happened to be some people coming into the
office I work at to
solicit the
donation. The interesting thing here is that they took your blood regardless of how you answered the
questions. I suppose it was done this way so that your coworkers wouldn't give you funny looks when you were turned away.
Now, here's my question: what did they do with the blood that they couldn't accept because of the way that person answered the questions? Is there some big warehouse somewhere, filled with tainted blood?
